Philadelphia-based plaintiff personal injury law firm Eisenberg Rothweiler Winkler Eisenberg & Jeck has opened a Boston office. The office will be headed by Alex MacDonald, the former chairman of Robinson & Cole in Boston. MacDonald focuses on complex personal injury, medical malpractice, pharmaceutical and products liability litigation.

Eisenberg Rothweiler was formed in April when 19-lawyer Eisenberg Rothweiler Schleifer Weinstein & Winkler split into two groups, with 10 lawyers joining the Eisenberg Rothweiler group and nine lawyers joining Weinstein Schliefer & Kupersmith. In addition to Philadelphia, the firm has offices in Cherry Hill, N.J. In Boston, the firm will be known as MacDonald Eisenberg Rothweiler.
